This therapeutic method utilizes working with the power of the imagination. This process has a positive impact by activating healing energy within the body and promoting a positive mental attitude. The body senses may be scripted and the client is guided by the practitioner.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Our lives are filled with various stressors. Some examples of stressors are family, jobs, relationships and global events. The key component in dealing with stress is how we react to the stressors. When the body is continually in a state of stress, it is said to be in a hypervigilant state. If the body is continually subjected to this high alert stress state, there is a potential for many physiological changes to occur. Examples of these changes are high blood pressure, stomach ulcers, and chronic headaches. The immune system may be overburdened, leaving the body open to infection and disease potentials. Integrative Imagery is a process of imagery that encompasses active participation in the process of health awareness, stress management and creative problem solving.
